Media Language and Representations Analysis

Children's Documentaries
What i have noticed about children documentaries is that they normally play the same usual upbeat tune that it is every other documentary. My interpretation for this is that maybe they are using this repetitive tune so that the children will focus on what has to be said instead of the background tune that is playing.
I have also picked out that the wardrobe of the main person that is speaking changed. It's quite a colourful and would normally have patterns on them. This must be for the children to focus on the person.
Children documentaries also tend to speak in a more softer and slower voice. This is probably to make sure that the children can understand what they're saying as well as understanding it.

Why have i chosen this Brief?

I have chosen to do the "Opening scenes for an informative television documentary for 10-13 year olds." This is because i want to focus on my video editing skills and photo shopping. To do this video documentary i need to make sure that my video are full of truthful facts but making it very entertaining at the same time since it's reached for a younger audience. I could also put in background music to make it more lively.

Any Ideas?

-Background music (educational music)
-Bright clothes and a fun atmosphere
-Only 2 minutes
-Talk about school and how successful you'll be once they're older
-Smart Idols or maybe legends?
-Production name?
-Interviews with a successful business owner, teachers, doctors and a student.
-Images of students working at school?
-Fun and colourful make up
-Childish hairstyles
